1) House/Cameron spoilers:
I can't say I haven't seen that coming. BUT I've got faith. No, really, I do. I'm sure there is some kind of explanations. I'm not telling this 'cause I'm about to have a strawberry-flavoured-yogurt induced OD. I really do. Urgh.
2) Desperate Housewives:
I'm catching up with season tree. THIS SHOW IS SO MUCH LOVE. I don't think you people on my flist watch it, sadly.
This show makes me like HET COUPLES.
You can't understand how amazing this is. I didn't have more than 3 het OTPs before DH. But, you see...Tom/Lynette, Bree/Rex (Rex, how I miss you! You died two seasons ago, but you're still in my heart. You and your BDSM kinks.), Carlos/Gabrielle (Please please TELL ME these two are going to be together again!*weeps*) and even Ian/Susan. Even if I hate Susan- Ian is SO BRITISH. AWWWW.
I do like to ship femmeslash on the show, however. There's not enough male charas to slash anyone, sadly...But Bree/Gabrielle? EYECANDY. Bree/Lynette? OTP.
The relationship I like the most is the Bree/Andrew one, however. Their twisted mother/son dynamic is just wonderful. They're both so evil and crazy in their own way. And the sweet moment on 3x04? I was all 'Awwwwwwwwwww' and teary-eyed!
This is seriously my favourite show, after House.
3) Wicked, Musical vs Book:
Well...There's NO FIGHT. The book is SO. MUCH. BETTER. But, well, it was pretty obvious from the very beginning. However, I'm pretty disappointed. The musical is so totally different, in so many wrong ways...
The Elphaba/Glinda dynamic isn't just much more superficial, is basically based on Fiyero. And that's so sad! Glinda wasn't even trying something with Fiyero, in the book. In truth, nor was Elphaba, not when they were all in school.
And here there is the second bad bad thing about the musical: the events are all
rushing, way too much. I mean, wtf? The song, in the context of the musical, aren't so deep at all. They are, if you just listen to them as part of the book.
But the musical...Ok, is good, is fun, but the book is not just supposed to be good and fun, it's supposed to be MEANINGFUL. And even if the musical does somewhat make you think about the same concepts the book does, it's on another, much more superficial level.
I guess I had to expect this...But still. Do NOT just watch the musical. READ THE BOOK. It's another thing entirely.
...And in the musical you don't get actual kissing, canon gay relationship, and mention of Elphaba/Galinda sharing the same bed. (Glinda's face flushes while she remembers it. YOU WERE SLEEPING, YEAH TOTALLY.)
[ETA] FUCK. ITALY'S GOVERNMENT FELL?! FUCK.
