Notes: This is for 47_trek_47, and it's an illustration for the chapter set in 1995, Separate Peace, of her wonderful fic The Making of Nathan Petrelli. I was very honoured to be asked to draw part of what might be my favourite Nathan/Peter underage scene EVER. Thanks to snopes_faith for the support and excitement through the drawing process. Now I'm going to stop being serious and I'm going to FLAIL LIKE CRAZY AND GO READ THE FIC TREKKER WROTE IN EXCHANGE FOR THE FANART. EEEEEH.

( Peter just rolled closer, resting his head in the crook of Nathan's neck, hot, curved pressure along Nathan's throat, solid skull under his chin, so warm, and Peter smelled so familiar and safe. Peter's back was no longer against the couch. Nathan's arm slipped down naturally, settling around Peter's hip, his fingers ending up curled just slightly around Peter's thigh. )

So, you might be about to lose your house, your parents are more stressed than you've ever seen them because you have tons of debts. All your friends, your girlfriend, live far away, and you have to study three years of subjects you've never studied before in six months and you can't screw up the test because you can't afford to screw up anymore, but.

But then you go out to pick up your sister, and the sun is going to set in two hours so there's this orange glow all around, and you listen to your song, and it makes you feel so beautiful. You have to bite your lip to keep yourself from grinning like mad, and then you give up doing that because it's too hard, and you smile so wide you even feel your eyes wet a little. And you just feel it, that - it's worth it. It's all worth it. Always worth it.

Damn, life is beautiful, and I'm going to stop being silly now, but it just is.

Bad things happening lately/today:

- Heath Ledger is dead and we all know it. I mourned, I cried, I'm getting over it now. I'm buying Brokeback on DVD tomorrow to cry over it some more and then I'll be fine.

- My Period showed up this morning with their best friend Pain. It's not nice to see you again guys, not at all.

- My mom is promoting her new book, a collection of short stories called "L'idea delle Cose" (The concept of things). Yes, that's good. That's what's not good: we have to cook a dinner for OVER SIXTY PEOPLE AND GOD, I AM A HUMAN BEING, I CAN ONLY WASH SO MANY DISHES BEFORE I GO CRAZY. My dad is cooking all by himself though, so I guess he's in worst conditions than I am.

Good things happening lately/today:

- It's my beloved sister's birthday. She's eleven! She's getting older! She'll be getting a boyfriend in no time, she's so pretty and cute and wants to read slash fiction...*sighs* I don't know what to do with her. I mean, I know what to do: beat the crap out of her future boyfriends, lock her up and forbid her to read fics until she's 25 year old. Yeah.

1. Happy Halloween! I'm a sad, sad person and I'll probably spend my halloween night at home, trying to see if Windows Movie Maker works and if I can - GASP - make fanvids or something. But I hope you'll go around, have some fun. Don't be like me. I'm fifteen, and my life is over. No seriously, I spend more time talking to my 50-year-old aunt than to my 17-year-old cousin. I'M LIKE A OLD LADY IN A TEENAGED BODY. SOMEBODY HELP ME.

...I don't know where that came from. Just imagine there's a Nathan screencap over what I wrote over there and drool. I know you can do that - I can do that. See? I'm drooling already.

2. Today, on the bus, I started making a list of the most lickable spots on Adrian's face. I should never ever be allowed to get less that six hours of sleep. Ever.

3. I should also never be allowed to draw in class, because without references, and with my pornish thoughts, that's what comes out of it. ( Half-naked Peter, half-naked Peter, chibi Peter, and look, PETER again - well, at least he's making out with Nathan this time. )

4. The world is a crazy place when you wake up at 6:30 am, attend a philosophy class and than a history class and then you take a three-hours long literature test. Without ever drinking coffee. Ever. I think I'll take a nap on the keyboard now, if you'll excuse me. I stayed awake 'til now to watch the new Heroes (quite lame. Except for the preview and for HRG, because HRG is NEVER lame) and some old Desperate Housewives episodes starring Adrian Pasdar as a sexy lawyer. Haven't watched the new House yet. Stupid slow torrent.

Today I watched Harold&Maude. I'M STILL DROWNING IN MY TEARS. Goes up there with Little Miss Sunshine and Jesus Christ Superstar in my Favourite Movies of All Times List. Watch that movie. Do it, do it. There's nothing anyone can do about it: the late sixties movies are the best. Awwww.
